Ok, someone more familiar with graph theory tell me how to compute a minimum weight perfect matching on a complete graph with even-number of vertices? Or at least point me to a resource?

It's all either left as an exercise to the reader, extremely complex algorithms (Blossom or something?), or weird libraries, where apparently if I use it on complex graphs it's not necessary, but they then point me to even more complex papers.

Thought I had it solved but now it's returning a matching that's too small.

I wonder how Karl Marx would analyse the current Swedish situation where most of the university graduates and working-class women are democratic reform socialists, most of the working-class men are fascists, and nobody is a revolutionary socialist anymore.

It's quite clear though why the fascists hate academic #gender studies so much.

I'm waiting for mail from the taxman regarding money I'm owed efter paying double income tax for four years. It's one of these weird EU work here, live there things. Instead I get mail informing me that I owe them €530. Which would be easier to pay if they made that payout first. /-:

It is possible to be disgusted and outraged and yet remain silent. Some would even call this prudence.

But it is not possible to advance politics or defend principles without determined speech and action.

There is obviously risk in the latter approach (do I make myself a target when I might have skated through?), but not so much as with quietly absorbing each blow with a vague hope it will be the last.

I started a part-time job at NYMC sequencing core past Oct. PI here (Ravi Sachidanandam) didn't pay me until late Jan, and is now arguing I shouldn't be paid for earlier period since I wasn't present full-time.

And now it looks like 'official' job contract only covers work from late November onward and he was just lying about backpay.

I don't even care about the money - but I would like to get a warning out there about this lab. What would be a good way for this?
