Colin the Mathmo<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://mastodon.murkworks.net/@wrog" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>wrog</span></a></span> I've just done a search and got a very small number of hits for <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Topology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Topology</span></a>, <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Algebraic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Algebraic</span></a>, and <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/AlbebraicTopology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AlbebraicTopology</span></a>.</p><p>But Mastodon-as-a-Platform is not a place where you can search the mass of posts, it's a place to build a network in which you can then have the conversations. Searches can supplement this, but it's not about building a searchable body of data.</p><p>That's both a strength and a limitation.</p><p>2/n</p>
