#Bayonetta is such a cool character. I’ve only ever played the original game — and I’m replaying it now — but wow, it still holds up. The charm is off the charts! Yeah, it’s cheesy, campy, and a little kinky too… but none of that takes away from the character or the overall magic. It just works.

I’ve jumped back into #Bayonetta after spending around 20 hours with #DevilMayCry5 and finishing it a couple of times. Two quick thoughts:

First, DMC5 is visually stunning—it really sets a high bar, making just about everything else on the #SteamDeck feel a bit clunky by comparison.

Second… WOW! Bayonetta’s combat system is still an absolute blast. It’s fast, stylish, and so satisfying to play. Really glad to be diving back into this gem! #gaming

PS: Also the music, WOW! Great :)

#GOTY at number 2 is #Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon

I played this way back in January after picking it up on a whim at the end of 2023, and even back then I just knew it was going to be on this list, it's that good

it plays a bit like a cross between a Metroidvania and a Zelda game, with a lovely watercolor children's book artstyle, a great story, fantastic voice acting, and a super fun combat system. you control 2 characters at once, Cereza on the left stick, who can only bind enemies and can't attack, and Cheshire on the right stick who chomps through enemies with a really cool combo system. it takes a bit of getting used to but it's great when it clicks

the puzzles are great, there are these really trippy "Tir Na Nog" puzzle rooms a bit like the Shrines in Breath of the Wild

just a wonderful game that fell under a lot of people's radar I think

Nr. 9: #Bayonetta 3. Der dritte Teil nimmt euch auf eine verrückte Reise quer durch das Multiversum und peppt das Beat em up Gameplay mit Kaiju-mäßigen Riesenbeschwörungen auf. Meine Freude an dem Spiel könnten mir nicht mal die technischen Limitierungen der Switch oder die nervige Punkgöre Viola nehmen. Für mich trotz Ecken und Kanten der spannendste Switch Exklusivtitel.

Tanzszene in New York mit sexy Hexe Bayonetta, ihren Doppelgängerinnen aus anderen Welten, der eleganten Jeanne, und dem Punkrock Girl Viola.

The end sequence is even better than the beginning 😄
And the music is just 😘👌
I got all the LPs, destroyed all the tentacles in Chapter 9 (no idea how I missed that achievement) and finally also found all of Antonio’s notes. There are still a bunch of things I could try to do, so I might go back and look up a guide to find the stuff I’m missing.
This is still such a great game!

Sto per finire il primo (sono a Isla de Sol) che mi ha lasciato le tipiche sensazioni dei giochi Platinum: gameplay stratificato e profondo che mi lascia con la voglia di ricominciare per padroneggiare al meglio le meccaniche, cosa che puntualmente mi dimenticherò di fare perché mi farò distrarre da qualche altro titolo.
Il gioco è trainato da un combat system ottimo e dal carisma di Bayo, peccato per una storia risibile e alcune sezioni
