</p><p>Mehr dazu in unserem Blog: <a href="https://mailbox.org/de/post/die-besten-e-mail-anbieter-fuer-europa" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">mailbox.org/de/post/die-besten</span><span class="invisible">-e-mail-anbieter-fuer-europa</span></a></p><p><a href="https://social.mailbox.org/tags/mailbox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mailbox</span></a> <a href="https://social.mailbox.org/tags/bestemailprovider" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bestemailprovider</span></a> <a href="https://social.mailbox.org/tags/Datenschutz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Datenschutz</span></a> <a href="https://social.mailbox.org/tags/CloudAct" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CloudAct</span></a> <a href="https://social.mailbox.org/tags/GDPR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GDPR</span></a></p>
Lukasz Olejnik<p>My comments in @TheRegister about Meta's intention to train AI on users of Meta's products. This is OK with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GDPR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GDPR</span></a> but there's a catch: training on data typed in an AI model is a different thing to training on user's vacation pictures uploaded 15 years ago. But since they're going to clearly notify users and allow opting out, this is OK! Also, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GDPR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GDPR</span></a> enforcement of AI in Europe leaves a lot to desire. <a href="https://www.theregister.com/2025/04/15/meta_resume_ai_training_eu_user_posts/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">theregister.com/2025/04/15/met</span><span class="invisible">a_resume_ai_training_eu_user_posts/</span></a></p>
Raphael Albert<p>I've tried something new today.</p><p>Instead of filing my next privacy complaint straight away, I sent it to the heads of the offending organization first. I also demanded a formal apology for not respecting my privacy rights, full transparency, and a description of what they will do to comply with privacy law in the future. Or else.</p><p>Let's see if they are willing to learn something. I gave them two weeks to decide.<br>--<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/privacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>privacy</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/DataProtection" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DataProtection</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GDPR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GDPR</span></a></p>

Harry Sintonen<p>Finnish Post has decided to start using your data for service planning and development. What for? Well of course for "personalized content and targeted advertising". This is opt-in by default.</p><p>"My data may be used for service planning and development, as well as for delivering personalized content and targeted advertising using profiling.<br>Profiling refers to automated processing of personal data where the information is used to evaluate personal characteristics, such as interests or service usage.
