SaraThe simplest things are often the very things that make you feel alive 💚 I spent last weekend at a cabin in the woods with my friend Lissy and her golden retriever Morris, having good conversations, making pine needle tea, reading books, hiking long distances, climbing trees, and enjoying the sun. Even though my body ached a bit from all the walking, I couldn’t have been happier. We even found a partial deer skull (it’s on the last slide for those who don’t want to see it)! Jer 🚵🏼Granola for second breakfast (1st was bran muffin). Made a batch yesterday, recipe loosely based on a YT video. This batch had chopped pecans, walnuts, toasted pumpkin seeds, and ground flax. Spaced out and put cranberries in before baking which rendered them a little crunchier/chewier than normal. Usually use maple syrup, but used half Agave syrup this time.
