The original cross cutting relationship has been brought into near concordance during subsequent <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Laxfordian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Laxfordian</a> deformation which also generated these folds.

Nick BarlowHad a great day at the Calanais standing stones. The cross and circles as a whole are interesting, but the individual stones are fascinating to look at with so many patterns in the Lewissian Gneiss rock that makes them up.
