The kid wants to make this ornate #paperairplane from our favourite cartoon #SarahAndDuck. Haven't the foggiest how one would start it. Anyone seen a tutorial for such a thing?

A year ago, I saw someone open a book lamp in a bar. It was a pretty expensive product. Since I combine electronics and paper crafting, I had to DIY it and develop an easy-to-use circuit template and instructions for it. This educational project is perfect for libraries. Please #retoot :-)

i recently learned* this nice multi-signature booklet/zine binding technique that doesn’t require adhesive *or* sewing! you cut slits in the middle of each signature, make an accordion whose mountain folds fit through the slits, then secure each mountain by sliding a strip of paper through it on the inside of the signature

Currently if I want to print custom cards for an RPG or board game I just use my home printer and a guillotine, and it's slow and inaccurate.

Is there a way to automate this process short of getting a full die-cutting machine (like a cricut)? It seems like overkill just to cut out rectangles of paper.
