Deskbot today is Beast Wars Ravage! ​:decepticon:​ (Forever).

A very special 'Generation'-jumping character needed a very special toy release to celebrate the massive impact Ravage had appearing in Beast Wars' second season 3-part finale, 'The Agenda'. Hasbro stepped up to the plate (and fans' wallets) with this very smart boxed rendition of Ravage's Transwarp cruisers' bridge and of course bringing his G1 tape inspiration along for the ride.

If there's a Decepticon as ice-cool as Jazz is, it's Ravage, though he manages it in that casual way that birds of prey and the very best cats do instead of Jazz's more performative brand.

This toy also wins an award having the subtlest and fiddliest toyhax stickers ever applied to anything. Spot 'em if you can!

Beast Wars Ravage in robot mode in low lighting. The toyhax stickers add more reflective foil slash chrome which really brings this already ultra cool toy alive.
"Ravage, of the Predacn Secret Police, at your service." The robot standing at attention presenting a crisp salute to his Maximal audience. I'd wager there isn't a better character introduction in anything ever than the one show-makers Mainframe gave this guy. It's spine-tingling.
Ravage transformed in Beast Mode. He's an all-black Jaguar with red eyes. But this is a form that he never used in the show, sadly.
Beast Ravage is joined by G1 tape Ravage in a felune sitting pose. That this set included both characters, including extra paint for the tape form, was a bit of a Must Buy for me, even at the eye-watering price Hasbro were charging.
