On the current trajectory. A new foundation model every 6months. Definitely will not use those models.</p><p>Critique of his(?) key points.</p><p>1. Awareness and understanding of the physical world</p><p>Yes. True. But this is why <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Sora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sora</span></a> was created. It's learning about the physical world first, generating videos second.</p><p>2. Lack of persistent memory</p><p>This is purely artifact of public models. Internal <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/AGI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AGI</span></a> pursuing models most certainly have that.</p><p>3. Lack of reasoning</p><p>Again. Not true. o-1 and o-4 are reasoner models. And doing it very well for first gen reasoners.<br>Passing the reasoner tests (ARC).</p><p>4. Inability of complex planning</p><p>This one is probably the most (and only) valid critique. And there are already papers for this.
