Here are some comparisons of the saucer section and bridge area on the Miranda-class USS Reliant in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" and the USS Brattain in #StarTrekTNG's "Night Terrors".

We get some gorgeous views of the Miranda-class USS Brattain (labeled Brittain on the hull) saucer section and bridge dome in #StarTrekTNG's "Night Terrors". I love how the shots work with light and shadow to make the doomed ship look very ominous.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room: while the hull of the Miranda-class ship still incorrectly says "USS Brittain" in #StarTrekTNG's "Night Terrors", all the LCARS displays , MSDs , Captain's logs and consoles correctly call the ship the USS Brattain, named after Walter Houser Brattain.

The hidden door to the chief engineer's office in main engineering is briefly but nicely seen in #StarTrekTNG's "The Hunted". The set plans reveal that this orange door connects to the main corridor set turbolift niche (the right door) also prominently seen in the episode .

I must say that Kira Nerys is such a remarkable woman - fierce, independent, and with a passion that rivals any woman I've met. She's like a whirlwind of strength and determination! I am not doing good at time management or indeed any approximation of knowing what day it is, but today was the last day to drop off art for the Somerville Open Studios and I managed to get this done just in time. Despite 1) running out of black thread (howwwww) and 2) goofing up the insignia the first time. Still. She looks good.

I probably did not need to agonize as much as I did over whether it’s the right shade of teal/blue but who am I even if I can’t overthink things.

We rewatched #StarTrekTNG's "Remember Me" last night and I couldn't help but notice that there's something yellow stuck in the top of the engineering turbolift door. It disappears as soon as the Traveler arrives. I will never be able to unsee this, I'm afraid! ;-)

I hope you're not getting fed up with the 4-foot model / 6-foot model comparisons in #StarTrekTNG's "Galaxy's Child", because here comes a particularly good one: Compare the 4-foot model in the season 4 episode with the 6-foot model, as seen in "Home Soil".
