Wife was on the cargo e-bike, kid on her little Frog bike, and me on my typical road bike with an unused FollowMe attached.</p><p>A family of four walking by stopped us to ask questions about all three, clearly interested. Dude just deadpans: "You don't even have a car do you?"</p><p>"Nope, that's our car", I say, pointing to the cargo bike.</p><p>"Wild" he says.</p><p>There's real <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/FuckCars" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FuckCars</span></a> energy out there, but I think modelling it helps inspire others.</p>

The town with a post office had passenger rail service 100 years ago. My grandpa told me about it. Guess what happened? The automobile manufacturers bought the line and shut it down. Dutch Barracuda🏳️‍🌈🛠☢️🌎♻️<p>SUVs and the newer generations of pickups here in the UK infuriate me so much. When they inevitably can't find parking space, they'll park on the pavement, blocking access for everyone.</p><p>That extra width makes them overtaking cyclists dangerous too.</p><p>And they're always clean.
