The Herald, Mediator and Scholar castes were, albeit for different reasons, all somewhat interested in the commonalities of religions across the paracologies, and, if it was convenient, often engaged in archaeological projects if they came across an interesting site.

To question any part of the Chosen doctrine was to question all of it, and that was a step too far for most.
With every new paracology Occupation, there were a tiny few to "go native", and become apostate.

The Chosen had no need for Omani oil, and shut down the production immediately. The invaders had far more interest in the vast swaths of sand than anything that laid beneath them.

Prison -
The Chosen had a complex, just and fair legal code that focused more on rehabilitation than punishment, and was highly successful....and of course, NONE of it applied to non-Chosen.

Nearly 5 million Omani lived under the rule of approximately 10,000 Chosen. To work for their masters, most had to undergo daily security processing at checkpoints such as these. Average processing times were 4-6 hours.

Surveyors -
The Chosen did not have anti-gravity, but repulsor tech was integrated into almost all of their air vehicles., and was effective for things at the "large car" size or bigger.
My current #jam is #PizzaJam (it's not about pizza. Well, the game isn't, anyway) and I am doing my first experiments with #Box2D physics in #Defold.
Some #conceptart for the #puppets to solve the logic #puzzles with. They are element-based: fire, ice, stars, and metal. I've had the idea a few weeks ago - there's always a jam to try them. It's very handy that this way I can tackle on new thing at a time.
