#ThreePercenters

we are the 3.5 percenters, the loudmouths, the courageous, the ones who shake things up until the head tyrant is no more

tyrants and oligarchs are alone, they neither have, nor represent, #ThePeople
. The People cannot be bought, intimidated, or forced to betray their own self-interest

the interests of The People are sacred

Jesus Christ hated oligarchs, lovers of money
. let's follow Him

The structure of this #BBC article on #JSO and #ClimateProtesters is entirely to serve the interests of those who want to portray climate activism as a ‘public nuisance’.

It’s one thing to briefly quote #Liberty, but they don’t acknowledge the UN’s view that UK sentencing of climate protestors was “beyond comprehension” and expressed alarm at “increasingly severe” crackdowns on the right to protest in the UK.

"An ancient Greek Cynic would never worry about what curtains or carpets to have, what is on TV tonight or which brand of washing powder gets things whiter. These and similar concerns are the concerns of the civilized and their price is your freedom. The Cynic determines to do without not because without is better or recommended in itself but because this is the only way to demonstrate freedom from burdensome comforts and artificially created obligations. Civilization, to the Cynic, is unfree; it is a set of chains, and they are not worth giving up your freedom for."

Librarians are dangerous: A public service announcement by Brad Montague

Dear Enthusiasts,

I write to you today as a concerned citizen.
Many aren’t brave enough to say it, but the time has come. So, I will say it:

Librarians are dangerous.

(Dramatic music should be playing in your head right now.)

You thought they were just keepers of the quiet. Guardians of the “shhh.”
The ones who handed you a dusty book and pointed to a beanbag chair.

Wrong.

This Train I Ride

"Life is uncomfortable; If you can accept that, you'not going to be happy. It's almost like you don'accept...reality. It's like you don't accept life."

A beautiful and wonderful movie

The film follows the life-journeys of two women living on the fringe in a rapidly changing country. A quest for identity, freedom and finding one's place Travelling the great American outdoors on huge freight trains is an adventure that has been practiced for ages by some people, and has even spawned a culture dedicated to it: hobo culture. Arno Bitschy takes us on the trail of Ivy, Karen and Christina, who have chosen this way of life, some in search of meaning, others out of eternal rebellion or a compelling need for freedom. Interested in marginal characters, the director has often filmed on this side of the Atlantic, always to tell human stories. Crossing the country with these endearing women and incredible landscapes, we return here to one of the United States' flagship ideas: freedom. Not libertarian freedom, the law of the strongest. The freedom to travel, to be alone, to trust each other, to make your own choices, without men, against society, to be free!
