A storm went through but thankfully it wasn't severe where I live in GA. I'm happy the heavy rain washed a lot of pollen away (for now). Kengo's colors look good in the wet background.

My favourite tree. A stately Maple that has seen things in its life.

When we moved here, 28 years ago, there was a tire swing on one of the branches, but that broke, thankfully when no one was on it. The trunk is hollow almost all the way up inside and has housed raccoons and possibly sheltered a fox, too.

Maple buds just starting to show red. The outer covering is brown and velvety, and the red pieces are starting to break out like worms or tentacles

Maple flowers that have blossomed. They look like fireworks with a red explosion in the center and a golden cream colored explosion around that.
