Here's another piece that sat in my drafts for years and I completed back in July!

Believe it or not, while Master Sequin's Assistants has been a work in progress for almost twelve years, this is only the second time I draw Sequin.

I put so much time towards the fandom, and towards gifts and commissions, that stuff of this sort got pushed off this many years before I even realized. It's a little heartbreaking, haha. This is also the first time Sequin is inked and colored.

Though not very visible here, Sequin is tall for a gnome. His home and atelier takes two thirds of the base of a large tree. After Christmastime, Sequin tends to get more forlorn than usual, but not for the reasons you might expect...

The most beautiful surprise I received for my birthday was this art gift from my beloved friend Kitty! 😭

It’s hard to put into words how it feels to receive such a present, which requires reading my work, in order to illustrate it, and which depicts a scene better than I feel I can do myself. I cried when I saw it, which should tell you a lot.
