My confusion about #Switch2 Edition games is, why the separate branding? They’re just Switch 2 games.
Was #Nintendo concerned that people would accidentally buy the full price game without realizing they could upgrade their Switch version? That’s an odd fear given the price increase on games.
Were they concerned people would be disappointed to find out it’s not a totally different game than the Switch version, despite it having the same title?
Why did they do this?

- Nobody bought the Nintendo 3DS. They dropped the price at almost half in 4 months.
- Nobody bought the Xbox One. They're abandoning hardware and pushing Game Pass.
Vote with your wallet. It always works, in one way or another.
If #Nintendo is going to charge $10 for their Welcome Tour tech demo 'game' they should have at least made the proceeds go to charity. They'd get a nice tax write-off, and people would feel better about paying.
As it stands, that's a huge nope from me.
