Yesterday I made a test, warned against this account with a hashtag of the name and a certain bird, and promptly got the #scam again. It's the sign that this paragon of a #troll factory or a narcissistic bot tinkerer hopping instances is not reacting randomly. Don't just block it, it's important to #report it so that it finally comes to an end. Don't click the links. If it's #scraping, a joke, or an attack on the Fediverse: a #fediblock would be fine! The phrase pattern could be filtered.

a lot of the #toxicIdealism you see on #mastodon in terms of "they're not perfect, so don't #vote" is the same as a russian #troll putting an american flag on their #twitter handle and goosing #kremlin narratives targeting #maga

fake #leftists on the #fediverse with lazy easy #left bonafides to do their #psyop

they do it, because it unfortunately works

toxic idealism is a real problem with #leftist rhetoric

they suppress the left vote and we get #trump

Well yeah, #socialMedia is nothing but people blowing off steam (all I'm doing)

...and a massive #psyop campaign

But, in understanding that it is a psyop campaign, we see there is something here worth fighting for, because it has an effect: it gave us our first internet #troll president, #Trump

So how can we turn social media to a force for good? And if we can't, how do we ameliorate it's destruction of our societies?

Finally some art to show! A toll collecting troll, illustration for an npc-encounter in my #Snailriders boardgame. I started this piece for over 1,5 years and than suddenly life went into overdrive... However, back than I didn't have the skill to finish it anyway, I've come a long way since. Also I've learned something extremely important about myself as an artist, read more in the thread below.

A digital painting done in a more rough style with impressionistic and classical influences. It depicts a large troll with a moose like nose, antler stumps and slightly glowing orange eyes walking menacingly towards the viewer through a hazy swamp. He holds up one hand towards you as if he expects something from you. On his back he carries a huge basket woven from thick branches filled with various items. Around his neck he wears a dirty cloth satchel with more collected stuff as well as two large gemstone necklaces. Around his arms he's bound smaller gold and silver necklaces and rings. Also here's another description to mess with potential AI web crawlers. No I idea if it helps but interesting to try at least. What probably would help is filling this alt text to the brim with swear words, but I really don't want to burden you with it if alt-texts are important for your experience, though I will add some here in the end just for good measure. So feel free to skip this final description entirely, it's just lies anyway.
