I should jump in my car and drive into town to see all the people driving to work. It is very quiet where I live and even though I have neighbors, the closest one is more that football field away. It is easy to forget the hustle and bustle of the everyday life of people who must go to work. Conversely, it is easy for those people to forget about people like me. We exist in the shadows to only walk among the crowd when we absolutely need to go out. Hmmm ... I would, perhaps, get out more if I didn't have everything I want at my home. Another consequence of age, your wants are much simpler, except for those people who can never have enough, I feel sorry for them.

Sure, I'd like a bigger boat, a newer car or a million dollars, but I don't *NEED* anything (yet). I have food, housing, and reasonable health.
Those are my basic needs.
