#Watched Dope Girls. Whilst I am not the biggest fan of giving historical dramas a modern soundtrack, I forgive this show as it pressed my interwar decadence, noirish crime, spiritualism/seance and brothelesque interior design buttons. Enjoyed it.

boxd.itA ★★½ review of The Gorge (2025)Eh Thats all I can say about this film. "Eh." I didn't hate it. But definitely didn't love it. I can see the allure of it and why its so popular - but I found it so cliche and predictable. Painfully so. I saw every jump scare coming. I figured out who the bad guy was and the purpose of everything was the moment they arrived. Good popcorn movie, but thats about it.
