Tonight's #3GoodThings and the nightly #GermanShepherd post are all in one. This book is finally done and about to be released on April 1. I'll probably have more to say about it in days to come, but that will require a thread. For this moment, a cover photo and link are enough.

Morning run

We have taken a couple of weeks off to del with things and with a glorious day we went to the seaside for the morning run. The usual crowded beaches at #Dunbar! Just a few hopeful surfers who I regret to say were dissappointed. It is a quiet beach in many ways.9k of sandy track with 3k of #beach - but the collie insisted on having his frisbee so he got the mile in another way. Mainly damp sand, but the dry really takes it out of you!

Morning Run

Stuck in the south and not likely to be back in the Highlands this winter, we do our best. A gorgeous run up Ruberslaw, a short bit of road but mainly paths and moorland. Warm with it and dry - although I have never done this run without wet feet not matter what time of year.

12.5k, should like to say fast, but I flagged on the climb up to the trig point 🥵

Walk of the day

The ‘Jubilee Memorial’ track that runs from Earlston along the Leader makes for an enjoyable 10k, not long with a few steep climbs, albeit on curated paths and occasional steps up/down the steeper parts. Along the path there are three wooden sculptures (see alt.text) and at one point pass what was a steel bridge across Leader Water connecting one side to the somewhat ornate Grange Hall on the other.

Morning run

Just in The Borders overnight, so we took advantage of a glorious morning to get out and about. 14.5k, mixed road and tracks. It started off clear and chilly, we were warm by the time we got up to Fatlips Tower where clouds appeared to be coming in - all of which had blown away by the time we reached the cottage for coffee and breakfast.

Afternoon run

Lovely afternoon, although blue skies to one side and threatening clouds to the other and it is rapidly going that way everywhere. 12k, quiet roads. And for once we had a couple of these lovely birds tracking us all the way round, probably wondering why we were bothering.Occasionally a hare lazily tracks us alone the longer field but never buzzards.
