Da haben wir gestern den Dachboden weitgehend ausgeräumt. Jetzt habe ich einen Sack voll alter Videokassetten (S-VHS und Hi-8), aber kein Abspielgerät.
Hat jemand eine günstige und einigermaßen zuverlässige Quelle für S-VHS Recorder? Oder sogar noch so ein Teil rumstehen?

I had an epiphany yesterday while standing in a thrift store - VHS and cassette tapes really are the last true hope for finding most of the really, truly good "lost" media out there.
Here's my thought process:

It's kinda fun, when a friend's teen kid thinks watching actual VHS tapes is like having all the VHS video filter effects on all the time.
VHS had pretty decent quality when taken account the TVs used to watch them with back in the days. Sure, DVD blew it out of the water just like BluRAY did for the DVD, but it's just weird how some generations later your childhood stuff is just remembered as relatively rare glitches they had.
